Salvation

What is Salvation?

Salvation is the heart of the Christian faith. It means being rescued—from sin, from separation from God, and from spiritual death. It’s not something we can earn through good deeds or religious rituals. It’s a gift, freely offered by God through Jesus Christ.

“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” — Romans 6:23

Why Do We Need Salvation?

Every person has sinned and fallen short of God’s perfect standard. Sin separates us from God, but He didn’t leave us in that broken state. Out of love, He made a way for us to be restored.

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” — Romans 3:23

God’s Plan of Redemption

God sent His Son, Jesus, to live a perfect life, die on the cross for our sins, and rise again. Through His sacrifice, we are offered forgiveness, freedom, and eternal life.

“But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” — Romans 5:8
